JOANNA OPEÑA, PE
PRESIDENT
Joanna Opeña, PE is a board-certified professional engineer in California and Nevada. She has 12 years of experience in providing general civil services and specializes in Technical Drainage Studies, Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP), and Civil Improvement Plans for commercial, industrial, and residential projects located in Southern Nevada and California. Joanna served as the civil discipline lead for numerous multi-million dollar land development improvement projects, often delivering quality while staying on schedule and under budget . Joanna is adept at leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with stakeholders and government agencies, and navigating the challenges of large-scale projects. In her free time, Joanna enjoys gardening, camping, and cooking. She also loves playing with her two cats, Thiago and Giroud.
JASON SHON, PE
VICE PRESIDENT
Jason Shon, PE is a board-certified professional engineer in Nevada and Washington. He has over 6 years of experience in providing civil services and specializes in Water Network Analyses, Land Entitlement Acquisition, and Civil Improvement plans for residential projects located in Southern Nevada. While working with Southern Nevada’s largest homebuilders, Jason has led multidisciplinary teams in acquiring land entitlements, performing technical studies, and designing civil improvement plans. With his meticulous attention to detail, Jason’s expertise in cost management and value engineering has consistently resulted in significant savings for clients. In his free time, Jason enjoys visiting national parks, backpacking, and soccer.
